About me

Hi, I am Nico.  I'm a PhD student at Genoscope-LAGE Lab at Université Paris-Saclay. Before that I obtained a master degree in applied mathematics at Universidad de Chile.

Im interested in the regulatory architecture of marine microbial communities using transcription factor profiles from metaG data and integrate gene regulation with environmental variables to provide insight of functional climate adaptations

Currently, I am combining global climate data, biogeochemical cycles, and genomics to understand and predict future marine ecosystem scenarios, with a focus on dynamics.

This is my little corner on the internet where I occasionally write about things I find interesting or worth keeping somewhere other than my head. Expect a mix of science, math, and maybe some random thoughts—organized chaos at its best (or worst).
